By 2006, the company employed over 100 employees, nearly 60 pilots, and offered aircraft management, maintenance, and worldwide charter services.

In 2006, Mark and Kurt sold Spirit to an East Coast Operator who had the high hopes of forming a nation-wide charter company.  The new venture's corporate missteps and a failing economy, however, resulting in the unfortunate failure of that venture.
